In her two critically acclaimed concerts, Songs and Second Time Around, Tyne Daly explores the storytelling potential of popular songs from the early 1900s through today, presenting happy songs and snappy patter in the great vaudeville tradition!

Tyne was last seen on Broadway in the new musical It Should Have Been You. In 2014 she starred in Terrence McNally’s Mothers and Sons and she received a Tony nomination for Best Lead Actress in a Play. Tyne also starred in both the Broadway and London revivals of Master Class for which she received unanimous rave reviews and a Tony nomination her portrayal of Maria Callas. Other outstanding theater performances include: The Seagull, Rabbit Hole and her role as Mama Rose in Gypsy, which earned her a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical.

Tyne is best known for her television role as Detective Mary Beth Lacey in Cagney and Lacey for which she is a four-time Emmy Award winner as Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. Her other TV roles include Alice Henderson in Christy, for which she won a Emmy and Maxine Gray in Judging Amy, which won her a sixth Emmy. In 2017 Tyne starred in the mega movie hit Spider Man: Homecoming.
