In Café Society, Christine Andreas makes you wish you’d been part of the golden days before television usurped the evening hour, when a night on the town took you from the Stork to the Cotton Club, Le Ruban Blue to the Copa. In swanky gowns, smoky rooms with swinging bands, and a grab bag of swellegant songs laced with stories and gossip of personal friends who HAD “lived it all”, she tells the audience just what’s going on and with whom. Enjoy music of Ellington, the Gershwins, Porter, Rodger and Hart, melodies that Andreas delivers like a breeze with each syllable an invitation to dress up, strap on your dancing shoes and start Puttin’ on the Ritz!

Christine Andreas is a multiple-award-winning singer/actress and a two-time Tony® Award nominee. Most recently starring on Broadway in La Cage Aux Folles, she first captured theatre-goers hearts in the 20th anniversary production of My Fair Lady as Eliza Doolittle (Theatre World Award), followed by the revival of Oklahoma! as Laurey (Tony® nomination), and the legendary George Abbott's On Your Toes (Tony® nomination).  She also created the role of Marguerite St Just in The Scarlet Pimpernel.  National audiences will remember her unanimously praised portrayal of Margaret Johnson in the Tony® Award Winning musical, The Light In The Piazza. Her cabaret appearances in New York's finest rooms and concerts from the White House to Carnegie Hall continue to win Ms. Andreas critical acclaim both nationally and internationally.
